CAMP DIRECTORS & STAFF:
Executive Director: Rob Bloom - 28 years of summer camp experience. Currenty coaches basketball at Westlake High School.
Program Director: Sylvester Royal - Over 30 years of coaching experience. He has directed many international camps and clinics.
Staff: The staff is made up of well regarded young people who are concerned with your child's growth and development. Our counselors are selected upon their ability to positively interact with and instruct your child.
WESTLAKE PHILOSOPHY
Our purpose is to provide quality instruction in a variety of sports, games and activities. Our priorities are as follows: 1) Skill Development, 2) Increasing self-esteem, 3) Teaching good sportsmanship, 4) Developing long lasting friendships, 5) HAVING FUN!
EXTENDED CARE
Morning extended care is available beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Afternoon extended care closes at 5:30 p.m.
The cost of extended care is $5.00 for morning care and $5.00 for afternoon care.
LOCATION: Westlake Sports Camp is held at Westlake High School in Westlake Village, California. The camp will have use of the most up-to-date athletic facilities.
SCHEDULING
Westlake Sports Camp offers parents and campers the opportunity for maximum flexibility in scheduling. You may sign-up for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. Campers are welcome to stop and start again throughout the summer.
HALF DAY SCHEDULE:
Campers needing a half day schedule (morning or afternoon) can sign-up by contacting the camp office. Campers attending specialty camp are welcome to join regular camp in the afternoon. If a half day schedule is approved by the camp director, the cost for a 5 day week would be $125.00. The cost for a specialty camp half day schedule would be $175.00.
ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP DAYS:
Please contact the camp office if your child will be unable to attend camp that day. There are no refunds given for days missed and parents are financially responsible for all days that the camper has registered to attend camp. If you call the camp office the day your child will be unable to attend camp, a make-up day will be given based on availability. If you do not call the camp office when your child is absent from camp, no make-up day will be given. No more than 3 make -up days will be permitted.
LUNCH:
Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch to camp. Lunch may be purchased for $5 at camp.

Monday - Pizza
Tuesday - McDonalds (burger and fries)
Wednesday - Hot dogs
Thursday - Subway (turkey or ham sandwich)
Friday - Pizza

Any additional information regarding slide shows, scholorships, gift certificates, or donations can be obtained by calling the camp office. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Westlake Sports Camp is a non-profit corporation.
CARPOOL ENTRANCE:
Westlake High School is located at 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Rd. For drop off & pick-up, go east on Thousand Oaks Blvd. past Lakeview Canyon Rd. to Via Merida and turn left, make another left into the upper parking lot. Stay to the right until you are greeted by Westlake Sports Camp personnel.
